Lets play what if with the numbers. Just how much money could be raised for charities? If this many people participated, this is how much could be raised with very little effort:

100 garage sales per week x 50 states = 5000 garage sales X $50 = $250,000 per week or $1,000,000 a month!

500 garage sales per week x 50 states = 25,000 garage sales X $50 = $1,250,000 per week or $5,000,000 a month!

1000 garage sales per week x 50 states = 50,000 garage sales X $50 = $2,500,000 per week or $10,000,000 a month!

The power is in the numbers. The more people who participate the higher the numbers. If you are planning on having a garage sale anyway you don't need to do anything different or special, all you need to do is make a commitment to donate a portion of your sales to your favorite charity.
