This site does not collect any funds on behalf of any charity or organization. None of the money donated to charities comes through Garage Sales for Charity. YOU donate to the charity of your choice. We never handle a penny of donated funds. You are free to donate to any charity, we make no suggestions or tell you where you should donate. We are not affiliated with any organization. I can't stress this enough the choice about how much to donate and to who is entirely up to you. This is a volunteer effort. We are here to act as a central source of information, ideas and promotion under a common name-Garage Sales for Charity.org

Have been kicking around alot of ideas to promote Garage Sales for Charity.org but will need help from sponsors to fund these ideas:

Billboard space

Direct mailing--To individuals, or to nationwide charities making them aware of Garage Sales for Charities

Ads in magazines and newspapers--any size of donated ad space would be greatly appreciated

Our website address printed in your company materials, advertising or on your packaging

The bulk purchase of those rubber wrist bands--to be resold to people having garage sales, they could sell them to raise funds.

Any celebrity who would like to come aboard would be way too cool. Here is a idea for a tv commercial for all you ad companies out there--show a yard sale with all celebrity shoppers!

Other ideas and suggestions are always welcome!

Graphic Designers Wanted

While I have a background in graphics I have never been a "designer" My skills have been in production and not design. I am looking for someone who would be willing to design a new logo for Garage Sales for Charity.org, additional banners and flyers and a design that could be downloaded and printed to a tee shirt transfer so people having garage sales could have a tee shirt with our logo. Any other ideas you have would be appreciated including a new website design. Also need a programer to write a script for an idea I have. Can't pay you for your work but if I use it I will give you credit with a link to your website. Thanks!
